A striking poppy of shingle banks and coastal dunes with large yellow flowers

The 'horns' that give it its name are the long, curling seed pods that follow the flowers

The plant exudes a yellow latex when damaged and is poisonous

Yellow 4-petalled flowers on stems 60 cm or so tall; 60–90 mm across

Bluish, deeply lobed leaves covered with fine hairs
